Poster: C- Review:Stones. Scoresese. Shabby. No better than most of the placeholder posters on Apple's site, this image does very little to entice a viewer unfamiliar with those two names. Of course, that could be what they're going for, which is also a shame.Trailer: C Review:Martin Scorsese's TV documentary No Direction Home has been widely hailed as one of the best musician documentaries ever recorded. He's moved on from Bob Dylan to The Rolling Stones. What the trailer shows is hardly interesting and I'm unsure how much praise the film will get if it's too closely compared to No Direction Home.Oscar Prospects:No Direction Home only won a Sound Mixing award at the Emmys. It wasn't even nominated for the Non-Fiction Program prize they so often give out. Other than having Scorsese's name attached (which did net him an Emmy nod), I don't know that there's really much of a chance at an Oscar nod.
