Preview: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008)

Poster: D

Review:

A new placeholder that changes the way things are done. Using black text on a white background isn't original, but it's a lot more pleasant to look at than many.

Trailer: B

Review:

If this film didn't have a March release date, I might hazard to say this looks like a smashingly fun comedy. However, past experience suggests the opposite. Still, with Pushing Daisies' Lee Pace and Frances McDormand in the cast, it may be well worth checking out, even if it is a clunker.

Oscar Prospects:

McDormand has had her name tossed out around several times for Oscar nominations and I'm sure someone's going to short-list her for this. However, I can't help but believe that the Academy will have forgotten the film come voting time.

Release Date:

March 7, 2008

Synopsis Review:

I have not seen this film.
