Preview: Mister Lonely (2008)

Poster: C

Review:

Overly simplified and inexpressive, this poster is hardly engaging and doesn't encourage anyone to check out the film. Matter of fact, the festival banner at the top may just turn the average viewer away.

Review:

Well, if it wasn't clear from the opening festival sign, the entire plot should have given away that this is an art film. Any film about celebrity impersonators who found a commune and live to entertain, by its very nature is an art film. I'm not sure how good a film it will be as it seems so radical, but it's certainly a brave concept.

Oscar Prospects:

The Independent Spirt Awards may be kind to the film, but Oscar won't. He's not a fan of these kidns of "stunt" features when it doesn't adhere to the Academy's more traditional style.

Release Date:

May 2, 2008

Synopsis Review:

I have not seen this film.
