Preview: The Hammer (2008)

Poster: C

Review:

Although the trailer is hardly worth noting, the poster is at least a little more stylistically interesting. The color yellow has become a dominant one this year, starting late in 2007. It's not as irritating yet, though it's starting to get there. Putting the critics' praise on the boxing glove suggesting the film is a "knockout" is a somewhat clever idea.

Trailer: D+

Review:

Adam Corolla isn't as funny as he thinks he is. The entire premise of this film seems laughable, but not in the way he probably wants. Despite being pushed as a comedy, there's literally nothing humorous in teh trailer, which does not bode well for the film itslf.

Oscar Prospects:

TKO before the first round.

Release Date:
