Review:

THe massive mammoth that dominates the poster should be sufficient to bring teenage and younger audiences in. The spear throwing man at the bottom may entice men to the film. I can't say there's a lot women will find attractive in it based on this good, but unimpressive poster.

A little more color than other placeholders, this one is nonetheless the same.

Review:

Next year's lead contender for the box office crown, this is the first preview that could pull a large audience to the theater. It's simply that intriguing.

What a difference a day and a vocal soundtrack make. The film now looks like a massive battle film that will appeal to teenage boys more than to anyone else. The film has numerous anachronistic touches, not the least of which is that everyone speaks English, and not terribly poor English at that, as well as most are significantly better shaved than cave men/neanderthals should have been.

Oscar Prospects:

We could be looking at next year's Visual Effects Oscar winner.

Release Date:

March 7, 2008
