Poster: B; A- Review:Although the top poster more closely exhibits the duality of Spider-Man's personality for this film, the bottom is more atmospheric and interesting. Both are good, but the second poster is far better.Trailer: B+; B-; D Review:The teaser doesn't tell us too much about the plot and entices to want to see a film sequel that will likely be as popular as the first two.; Another preview goes too far in showing us too much of a film and its plot. It's apparent the movie is about parallel stories of revenge and the destruction they can bring. I would have rather picked up that little tid bit in the film, but that doesn't mean it won't be adequately told on the big screen.This third trailer pushes every single one of my pet peeve buttons. It reveals too much of one new villain at the expense of another, goes into too much detail about the film's plot, and doesn't quick cut through scenes from the film, choosing instead to linger on many shots that might make the film far more interesting were they not revealed. Could this be the death of the franchise? Three villains is far more than the Batman series could sustain, so who knows after this preview whether the film will still be any good. Oscar Prospects:Visual Effects, Sound Mixing and Sound Editing are all likely nominations for this film. It remains to be seen if this franchise can break out of the popcorn flick mold in order to get representation in other categories.Release Date:May 4, 2007Synopsis Review:I thought having three villains would be what caused the film to fail. That was only a small part of the whole disarray of the film.
